Gerard Sikias, CEO & Co-Founder
Gerard has over 25 years of international corporate finance, investment and private banking experience. He holds an M.S in Electrical Engineering degree from New York University and an M.B.A from the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) Fontainebleau, France.
He began his career with Hewlett-Packard as system engineer then spent 5 years in various positions with Citibank advising high net-worth individuals. He later worked as managing director for a Middle Eastern group in Saudi Arabia involved in diverse activities and was a Member of the Board of several international joint ventures. In 1986, he founded Mari Finance and Investments, a financial consulting firm focusing on structured finance and portfolio management. In 1996, he joined Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. in Geneva before joining management at HSBC Bank Suisse.
Gerard has broad exposure to current developments within the information technology and Internet industries and has extensive experience in financial valuation of privately held enterprises. He has advised and arranged several private placements for his major high net worth clients in various start-ups.
Muzaffar Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & Co-Founder
Muzaffar has over 15 years of international private and investment banking experience and holds a Masters degree in Finance from Webster University in Geneva. He has worked with various private banks in Geneva, marketing investment products to high net-worth individuals from the Middle East and South Asia.
Muzaffar who was most recently at Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. as Vice President has extensive marketing experience with a special emphasis on Pre IPO financing situations in the new economy.
Faiz Tandon, Head of Sales & Co-Founder
Faiz was previously a Sales Manager in the finance sector for the UK corporate-only Internet service provider, INS. He was responsible for building a sales team that won business with large banks. Through this experience, he gained a strong understanding of the various IT environments these leading companies work in.
After the sale of INS to Cable & Wireless, PLC in 1999, Faiz was appointed Head of Finance Sector for Europe. Based in Zurich, he managed a European team looking after institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Prudential Banking Corp and Swiss Re. Faiz brings with him knowledge of large enterprise networks and the ability to drive sales activity into new markets.
